Randy is a life-long resident of Rockingham County.  He came to know Christ as his personal Savior at a young age.  His love for God and passion for serving others grew from the example set by his parents and several other godly mentors in his life.

Randy’s teenage years were spent learning and enhancing his carpentry skills, which led to the beginning of his career in cabinetry and custom home construction.  In 2005, the Lord provided the opportunity for Randy to start his own business in home remodeling and heavy landscaping, which he continues today.

Randy enjoys serving others through both his business and volunteer work in the community.  During the time his children were in elementary and middle school, he had the opportunity to serve for 12 years as a PTO board member.  Three of those years were spent serving as PTO President at Western Rockingham Middle School.  Randy has also served on the Parent Advisory Council for Rockingham County Schools and has been recognized twice as Volunteer of the Year for WRMS.  In addition to serving in the schools, Randy has volunteered on numerous construction projects in the community.

Throughout the years, Randy has felt the calling to serve the Lord through the local church.  He has served in many areas including work in children’s, youth, young adult and senior adult ministries.  Knowing firsthand the influence godly mentors can have over the life of a young person, Randy has a desire to bridge the generational gap between our youth and senior adults.  He also has a passion to share the gospel and help others to learn how the Bible applies to their lives right now.  Whether serving in church, the community, or his home, Randy strives to lead by example and disciple others in their walk with Christ.

Randy currently lives in Mayodan with his wife Gina and two teenage sons, Jared and Charlie.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going fishing, and eating chocolate cake.
